Salads are a source of raw nutrients, full of enzymes undestroyed by cooking. Eating a raw salad each day is a good practice and kale is one of the healthiest greens. This salad mixture can be kept a week in the refrigerator. Add different fresh seasonal fruits like peaches or strawberries, pears or apples. You may want to add a dried fruit like dried cherries. Remember that dried cranberries (craisins) are loaded with sugar. Apple juice sweetened cranberries can be found at Whole. Foods. Nuts like slivered almonds or walnuts add crunch.
A good dressing is hard to come by as bottled dressings are loaded in salt and sugar. This dressing does have oil. Just squeezing an orange over a salad and adding just a sprinkle of salt is a good option. In fact this dressing is delicious without the oil. A good find!
