Do we give ourselves permission to come away and rest awhile?
Dinner guests last night with accompanying cleanup, a funeral this morning, an important email to send, an art show to attend in an hour….all in the name of love, God’s love; and our love for one another. Also, I need to go outside and pay the man working in our yard for a  hard day’s work.  We are doing what God has called us to do…encourage one another, build each other up, bestow honor to whom honor is do.  Pay what we owe.
Do we give ourselves permission to come away and rest awhile?   Jesus gave his apostles permission to “Come away and rest awhile.”
I have more to say on this subject; ideas of what to do to rest and I would like to do that.  But I must go….to the art show of my youngest daughter, our young budding artist.
