Lezlie R. Owsley, MMFT, LMFT

Owsley

Lezlie is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist with her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. She has been involved in professional counseling since 1996 working in outpatient counseling, residential treatment, and therapeutic foster care. Lezlie focuses her work on couples, individuals, and families and is also EMDR level II trained to treat trauma. She is passionate about integrating spirituality into her counseling work and understands the purpose of relationship to grow each person more fully into the image of God.

Ms. Owsley is a speaker and teacher and leads classes and workshops focused on how marriage and life-time commitment teach us to love another the way God loves us. She is also particularly concerned about supporting women in understanding their inherent worth and beauty. She believes God uses every aspect of our lives as means to a deeper revelation of who He is. She appreciates the grace of walking with people to create meaning and growth in the midst of suffering and pain.

Lezlie is married to Johnny and has a son. She enjoys Alabama sports, turkey hunting and especially being with her family.
