Description of Services:I long for others to notice God’s presence in their lives and the world around them. Before every spiritual direction session, I tell my clients that we are setting apart one hour and making space to notice and give our attention to how, where, and when God has been at work in their lives. I will always be astonished by the ways God shows up during spiritual direction sessions. Every time I meet with clients I am reminded that God’s Spirit is within us and around us. I also hold an MFA in creative writing from Seattle Pacific University where I studied creative nonfiction with Paula Huston and Lauren Winner. My work has appeared in The Washington Post, Christianity Today, Catapult, The Millions, Mockingbird, Christ and Pop Culture, and elsewhere. My first book, The Great Belonging: How Loneliness Leads Us to Each Other, will be published by Broadleaf Books in November 2020.
