Certificate in Spiritual Direction

We are thrilled to have you interested in the Ministry of Spiritual Direction. We are looking for individuals to whom God has given the gift of this ministry; i.e., that people come to you to share their spiritual journeys. We help you be more intentional with that gift.

Applications are now being taken for the next cohort in the Certificate in Spiritual Direction.

Here is what a former co-director says about this program:

Having participated in this training program for years, I am constantly amazed at what happens–
greater attentiveness to God, true Christian community, the ministry of presence and sane, centered,  non-reactive Christians.
I can highly recommend this program for all those who want a deeply Christ-centered approach to a ministry of assisting others to live under the relentless love to God. – Randy Harris

Selah offers two tracks in Spiritual Direction.

Track One – Certificate in Spiritual Direction: A fifteen-month program grounded in Christian contemplative disciplines. Participants receive a Certificate in Spiritual Direction at the completion of the program requirements. To find out more, Click here.

Track Two – Advanced Training in Ignatian Spiritual Direction: A program for those who already have met the following prerequisite: Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Selah program or another accepted program. To find out more, Click here.
